"Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates.”
One tip I would give is “never stop looking for those golden opportunities”
So when I heard that there was a chance to join the group of high profile successful mentors I wasn't going to turn this down.
Mentoring is very important to me. I truly believe no matter how big or small your business is; there is always someone out there who can give you some tips and advice and who knows what you going through. Experiential knowledge is a valuable asset. I am a mentor myself but I still value being a mentee.
Today whilst 125 delegates from across Liverpool City Region will be celebrating growth & showcasing IFB 2016 at the Radisson Liverpool. I will be joining another select group of SMEs focussing on exports in the morning.
In conjunction with Virgin Trains, one of IFB 2016’s founding supporters, I will be one of the business who will be travelling to London on board the IFB 2016 Virgin Trains First Class carriage, the “SME Brain Train”.
We will receive expert advice during the journey from a diverse group of high profile, successful mentors, including Wayne Hemmingway MBE, Clive Drinkwater UKTI North West Regional Director and key sector specialists from the Virgin Group and HSBC.
Like Forest Gump said “You never know what you’re gonna get”
